Movers in Affton, MO

Simple Moves has been moving St. Louis area households since 2000, and Affton sits closer to our home base than almost any other community we serve. This unincorporated pocket of south St. Louis County runs along Gravois Road just off Interstate 55, about 10 miles from downtown St. Louis, and its close-set streets of postwar bungalows and ranch homes call for a different kind of care than a subdivision built last year. Our in-house, background-checked crews handle every Affton job with the same truck and the same team from the first box loaded to the last one carried in. Why You Should Trust Our Movers in Affton, MO

ffton is unincorporated, which means its streets, permitting, and services run through St. Louis County rather than a city hall, but that has not stopped the area from developing a tight, walkable identity of its own along Gravois Road. Simple Moves plans every Affton move around its older, closely spaced housing stock and narrow side streets instead of treating the zip code like a generic county address.

Full and Partial Packing Support

Our 14-foot trucks fit Affton’s tighter streets and apartment jobs, and our 26-foot box trucks cover larger households, all operated under our own USDOT number 1653733 and MC number MC-717055 rather than a subcontracted carrier.

We needed assistance with moving furniture within our home for a home rehab. Kevin and Chris arrived on time. They began to work immediately on arrival and made suggestions for best use of available storage space. I made a late request to move two cabinets and they were understanding and completed the task. They worked well as a team. They were careful to avoid damage to a doorway where the fit was too tight for the piece to be moved. I appreciated they stopped and discussed this with me. I will definitely call Simple Moves again when our rehab is complete, and I will ask for the hard working team team of Kevin and Chris. Thanks guys!
Response from the owner:Linda, glad our careful handling of the tight doorway and that extra cabinet move met your needs. We can arrange the same hardworking crew when your rehab’s finished — Kevin and Chris.
